Lama Dug is a serene location ideal for single day hike and night stay. Highly recommended for school college groups and couples. The place is located at about 5 kms from Old Manali but it sure needs intense trekking to reach there. The place is full of green pastures and panoramic wide open valleys, usually clear sky and fresh air. The journey starts from Old Manali.
Suggested Itinerary
- Groups will gather at Old Manali. We will start our journey towards Lama Dug.
- Recommended group size of of 8 pax.
- The trek does not involve very steep elevations so no serious trekking equipments are required.
- Trek starts from Old Manali towards Lama Dug and will pass few small villages on the way.
- Arrival at Lama Dug in about 5hrs.
- Return to Manali.

- Personal expenses towards tips, telephone calls, laundry, beverage, insurance etc.
- It also does not include expenses towards medical exigencies and other emergencies, unforeseen handling costs due to weather disturbance, landslides, political unrest, changes in local unions/associations rules and situation beyond our control. However, all best possible assistance would be provided in case of exigencies.
